Wearing glasses cool again, Google has announced test of its “Project Glass”, a pair of augmented reality glasses that provides users real-time information right in front of their eyes. In a blogpost shared on Google Plus, the Project Glass team from Google X, a secret Google research lab working on future technologies like a space elevator, Wednesday asked people for input, posting several design photos of the glasses and a demo video to show what the glasses might enable users to do.
The video, “One Day …” depicts a day in the life of a Google glasses-wearer would be like, the video starts with the glasses booting up and a series of icons flash into his field of vision. He checks his calendar and the weather, chats and shares photos with friends in his circles (remember that week we were all active on Google+?) and listens to music.The physical glasses frame itself, while not as clunky as it could be, is sort of a dorky optical Bluetooth.
The New York Times first reported the Project Glass in February. It said at the time that the glasses was expected to go on sale later this year. But a report from Wired magazine said that Project Glass is still more of a concept than an actual product and won’t see an official release in the near future.
According to the newspaper’s tech blog Bits, people who have seen Project Glass said there is a misconception that the glasses will interfere with people’s daily life too much, but the glasses actually free people up from technology.
“They let technology get out of your way. If I want to take a picture I don’t have to reach into my pocket and take out my phone; I just press a button at the top of the glasses and that’s it,” one person who has used the glasses told Bits.

The first edition of Mobile Monday Ludhiana (MoMo) Ludhiana was organized on February 20, 2012 at Black Pearl, Sarabha Nahar Market, Ludhiana. The attendees included mobile application developers, entrepreneurs and students. Mobile Monday (MoMo) is a global community of mobile industry visionaries and developers and was started way back in 2000 in Finland by a Finnish mobile visionary and since then has grown vastly and moved to all parts of the globe. Currently the MoMo community has more than 140 chapter’s world wide.

Mobile Monday Ludhiana was a gathering and networking event for the Ludhiana mobile community. A strong mix of panels, speakers, product demos was the highlight of the event. iMedication is a reminder based application which allows the user to take medicine at given time. In this APP, users add and save the doctor details and medication details as per the requirement. Doctor details include Doctor’s name, email id, contact number & medication details include medicine type, quantity of medicine and medicine name. Doctor info tab is actually a phonebook to save the details of doctor. User can also view and edit the doctor details and are able to make a call to the doctor.
User can set the notifications on daily as well as weekly basis as per the prescription of doctor. In weekly basis, there is also a feature of recurrence after number of week with which user can set notification in particular week of the month with particular gap. User can also delete the future notification. He/She can extend the date for particular medicine and can also modify the notifications. User could also look upon the notification details of past date, current date and future date. This application also includes the email feature with which user can send his/her report to concerned doctor in the form of attachment.
User can also view number of medication(s) prescribed by the doctor when it goes in the form of mail to the doctor.
